Learn how to make a hand-sewn book using vintage discarded book covers, turning an old item into a beautiful new sketchbook or journal! Inspired by Coptic binding, one of the oldest bookbinding methods in history, this single-needle link stitch is deceptively simple - the flexible binding allows the book to open flat, and the exposed looping stitches create a beautiful braid-like effect. No prior bookbinding experience is required.
Fee: $100 to register, plus $25 materials fee to teaching artist (myself) on the day of the workshop
