Join me at the Kilton Library to sow seeds and plant starts in the garden! We’ll be planting flax, nettle, and sunflowers (and potentially other plants too) that will be grown for later use in papermaking and bookmaking workshops throughout the summer and fall. All paper starts out as plant fiber, and this is the first step in a hands-on series to explore the materials that make up books we see and touch every day - in history, in the present, and in creative experimentations!
Free and open to the public, no sign-ups required.
