Before plant fibers can be made into sheets of paper, they need to be pulped! We will be processing the fibers grown in the Kilton Library’s garden by machine and by hand so they are ready to go for the papermaking session on 9/23. If you are interested in making your own plant-based paper as a hobby or as part of your own art practice, this is a great hands-on opportunity to learn how this critical stage of the process works.
Free and open to the public, no sign-up required.
