The French Link Stitch is an elegant, adaptable, and beginner-friendly technique for making a multi-section book. We will each make a book with a decorative soft cover that can be used as a journal, sketchbook, or scrapbook, and we’ll discuss the long history of this particular bookbinding method. This is the first in a series of bookmaking workshops, each of which will cover a different style of binding and a different method for assembling covers.
