“Won’t You Be My Neighbor” is an exhibition of work created between pairings of current Allegany county residents and artists practicing in the Alfred/Allegany County region. Each work is born out of purposeful relationship building - time spent sharing stories, learning about each others lives, and ultimately coming to regard each other as friends and neighbors. My piece is made in collaboration with Nadine Hoover and Fenna Mandolang.
The first phase of the “Letters to Alfred” project will also be on view at this opening reception!
Co-curated by Artist Michael Bernard Stevenson Jr., Cassandra Bull, and Caitlin Brown, director of the Cohen Gallery.
