Herbal medicine is and always has been a healing modality by & for the people, and offers a path towards resilience and well-being in spite of the pressures of the capitalist system we currently live in. This workshop is aimed at working-class folks and community organizers who are curious about herbalism, and will cover introductory concepts and principles of making and using herbal medicine at home and in community, with a special focus on addressing chronic stress and improving immune function.
Presented through the Community Resilience Working Group of the Upper Valley DSA.
We will meet in the small field next to the Co-Op Community Garden, which shares a driveway with the Norwich Farmer’s Market in Norwich, VT.
