We will check in briefly on the fiber plants in the Kilton Library garden to see how they are coming along, then get right into making pulp using recycled paper scraps from the library and turning it into handmade paper adorned with leaves and flowers from the garden! We’ll talk about the different types of fiber that can be used to make paper, the start-to-finish process of making paper at home, and the many creative uses for the beautiful paper we’ll make.
Free and open to the public, no pre-registration required. Participants can pick up their paper once it is dry, about a week after the workshop.
Hosted by the Kilton Public Library in West Lebanon, NH.
